Emacs Users?

Is anyone out there using Emacs these days? I want someone to be impressed by this.

I know it’s horrifyingly incorrect Haskell, but still, it shows off a neat trick you can set up with a little help from your friends. The source code is plain text, the editor is just replacing certain patterns with unicode as I type.

I’ve made a lot of progress but it’s still pissing me off a little bit. Maybe that goes away after you customize it some more.

It is pretty impressive that with abbrev-mode you can basically bind a function to typing some arbitrary characters.
